HUR Jun
Korean painter Jun Hur is the direct descendant of a family that pioneered classical Korean painting and has a degree in Oriental painting from Hongik University. He incorporates oriental aesthetics with traditional ink wash ‘Soomook’ techniques to create vivid tableaus inspired by the natural world.
Nature is a major source of inspiration for Hur; his desire to live in harmony with the natural world is front of mind in many of his pieces. His approach to painting these classical subjects is a departure from literalist depictions; rather, he incorporates his memory and experiences into his process.
His modern takes on classical subject matter, such as his landscape series, add fresh stylistic interpretation to a storied tradition.
허준
한국화 창시 집안의 5대 손으로 홍익대학교에서 회화를 전공하였다. 현대적 산수화를 그리는 것과 동시에 자신의 심리를 나타내는 여러 방식의 작업을 하고 있다. 허준은 자연에 동화되기를 원한다.

작품은 국립현대미술관, 전남도립미술관, 남농 허건 기념관, 운림산방 등에 소장되어 있다.
